This Fork-tailed Flycatcher was a visitor to the Miramichi Marsh May 16th to 22nd, 2013. The bird which breeds in South America and winters in Mexico created considerable interest. More photos at http://flic.kr/s/aHsjF6WRNi .

Sharp-shinned Hawk
Finally had a good look at the hawk that has been paying attention to our bird feeders.
It didn’t get anything today that I saw.

Alas No GE Appeared
Unfortunately we had to settle for one Rough-legged Hawk at Tantramar Marsh. Light snow and restricted visability today. Brilliant sunshine yesterday.
